Meet Melissa

Background/Experience:

Melissa is a skilled accounting professional with an impressive 16-year tenure in the field. Currently serving as an Accounting Specialist at London Witte since 2022, Melissa has become an invaluable asset to the team. Melissa’s primary focus lies in providing exemplary financial services support in her role. Her expertise extends to a diverse clientele, particularly in insurance sales and investments. Melissa brings a unique skill set to her position, fortified by her proficiency in Field Financial Software. Before joining London Witte, Melissa worked as a Controller at Northwestern Mutual for an impressive 9 1/2 years. She is a graduate of Davenport University.

Personal:

Melissa was raised in Flint, Michigan, but now calls the Grand Rapids area home. Beyond her professional pursuits, Melissa finds joy in the simple yet profound art of crafting, especially in knitting and quilting. Melissa also takes great pride in her baking and cooking skills – including her perfected recipe for enchiladas. She also enjoys watching baseball, spending time with family, and spending an afternoon at the pool when she’s not working. Melissa’s commitment to community service is noteworthy, having volunteered for 15 years with an organization dedicated to free tax preparation for low-income individuals and families.
